How to Do Your Own Flower Nails Art

By Janie

Flower nail art is the latest crazes in Art Novelette. It is not really difficult and the techniques are quite simple. All you need is some glue, clippers, nails, beads and just a little creativity. Here are a few step by step instructions that will help you on your way to beautiful flowers.

Step 1: Get Started on the Flowers. You start this flower nail art with a base coat. Next add a light sheer coat, you will know it has been applied if it is a sheer light color. Next place one or two petals at a time onto the paper. Scoot around them gently so that you do not scrape any of the paint off.

Step 2: Make Branches and Bonsai. Using your intricate fingers, carefully attach the branches and bonsai to your nails. This can be done at different angles so you can make intricate patterns and designs. It can also be done straight.

Step 3: Create a Gradient Effect. To create the gradient effect, make a base that is the same color as your nail polish. Next dip your fingers into the glue and use them to dip into the larger petals and spread the color out evenly. This will give you a smooth and thick effect.

Step 4: Add dots. Now to create the flowers nail art, place a large dot onto the middle of the nail. dots can also be used at the end of your finger to create some character. If you want to have more of a character style, dip your fingers into the hot glue and then use them to dip into your larger nail stick, spread out the color evenly and then push down on the color until it is a uniform color.

Step 5: Add a Matte Topcoat. To finish this look, I would recommend adding a matte top coat to help hold everything in place. This is especially helpful if you used too much glitter. Apply the matte top coat over the entire flower design. Then use a white top coat to seal the design.

With a hot glue gun you can easily finish off your flower nail art. Using the center as the base for your mani, place a strip of white top coat on over the base. Use a second strip of white to help cover any gaps that are created between the two strips of top coat. Then add in the dots and finally use your nails to touch the top of the mani.

These three steps are how to do your own floral nails. I have also done these for friends who were hesitant at first. I know that the looks that you can achieve by using these techniques are awesome. You will definitely want to keep on practicing and I promise you that your mate will get so much attention from people when you do your own custom manicures.

To make sure that you are getting the best-looking results, try using a flower nail art that has different lengths of flowers. Adding more of the smaller flowers to the ends of your manicure will make your man look so much better. Also make sure that you don’t use too many dots on your manicure. Too many dots can make it look sloppy and messy which isn’t what you are aiming for.
